100% recommend it. I have a border collie pup who had started to obsessively go for cars to the point he'd gag and choke himself until we'd get away from them. He'd still always pull either forwards or backwards, at all times. Walking him was a chore, it wasn't fun, it was awfully frustrating, and it was getting worse. I decided to buy a similar harness (not from Sporn, from another company, but has the exact same design) and boy, he entirely stopped going crazy for cars. For the first time, he wasn't pulling backwards, and he was actually walking nicely at my side.
